A trip to Grandma and Grandpa's new house

On Friday afternoon we loaded up the car and headed across the state to Rockledge. We were very excited to visit Grandma and Grandpa at their new house, which was a VAST improvement from their prior place (though we did miss seeing alligators and turtles outside the back door). Grandma was thrilled to see Natalie, as it had been more than a month since her last visit. Grandma and Grandpa marveled at how big she's gotten, and it's true - she has been changing so much so fast! I guess the old cliches about how quickly they grow up is accurate. Before we know it, we'll be moving her into the dorms at UF (ha ha Daddy!).
We had a really fun time over the weekend. Natalie, who turned four months old on Saturday, loved having a carpeted floor to play on and she perfected her rolling over skills. Now she's gotta learn how to roll back the other way, but I'm sure she'll figure it out soon. Grandma and Grandpa were a big help, taking over a few feedings, cooking meals for us and giving us some free babysitting so we could go out Saturday night. It was especially nice of them to watch her as it was a big day for them - happy 38th anniversary! But they were happy to keep an eye on Little Bear as Johnathan and I had a lot to celebrate too, with both Florida and Alabama scoring big victories and the Rays making it to the post-season for the first time ever. Too bad I was so tired from all the excitement and couldn't stay out much past 10 p.m. How times have changed!
Sunday Natalie met some new family members for the first time. Aunt Joy, cousin Andee and her daughter cousin Darcy came over for brunch and were very happy to meet Natalie at last. Natalie enjoyed meeting them as well and gave them lots of pretty smiles. We'll see everyone again at Thanksgiving!
And all too soon, it was time to head back to Tampa. Thanks again to Grandma and Grandpa for showing us a great time. Hope you like the pics!
