More friends visit & Smiling?

We love the Baby Bjorn. Dad especially likes to wear it where Natalie fits in the front. We take it with us for walks around the neighborhood at night with Sydney and Murphy. Here is a picture of the Baby Bjorn. Natalie usually just falls asleep during the walk in the harness. After the walk, she gets her bath, massage and feeding before Mom and Dad finally (hopefully) get some rest.

Well, this week Jaymi spent some time on Wed.7/2 with our friend Jennie in St. Pete. Jennie met Natalie at lunch. Her father is pleased to announce that Natalie's behavior for the Jennie outing were positive. We were at Jennie and her husband Brian's home last Saturday night at their birthday party. Lots of fun. Wednesday evening, our friend Tiffani returned to have dinner with Jaymi and Natalie while Dad entertained clients at dinner. Natalie likes Tiffani, so the behavior report again is positive.

On Thursday 7/3, Dad worked from home that afternoon so that Jaymi could get some time out of the house to go to the YMCA (for the first time in a while), plus run some errands. No major outbursts during Mom's outing and Dad even got some work accomplished. On Friday 7/4, we both got to go to the YMCA again to exercise (albeit at separate times). Dad even managed to get in a guitar lesson from Roger. It will sure be nice later this month when we can check Natalie into the YMCA's nursery, so Mom and Dad can workout or go to a Spinning class together.

On Friday night 7/4, we took Natalie near dusk to Davis Island at the Hillsborough Community College campus at the Hillsborough River to watch the City of Tampa's fireworks display. Natalie ate from the bottle during most of the display. Warm night yet there was a gentle breeze with lightning in the clouds miles away. We even saw a cute, white bulldog being carried around in a stroller!

Finally, it seems like Natalie is starting to smile some. We are not quite sure but we know that she is getting close. She loves to take a bath and does not cry -- hard to believe I know. Natalie continues to hiccup daily yet the "Gripe Water" we feed her seems to take it away immediately. We hope you all had a great 4th of July. Best wishes from Natalie, Jaymi and Johnathan!
