We spent Wednesday night/early Thursday morning using the St. Joseph's nursery from 11pm-6am so that Jaymi and Johnathan could actually get some much deserved rest. The long push we know is ahead! We are ready for the challenge. On Thursday 5/22, our nurse Jeanne discharged us from our room. The staff, doctors and everyone at St. Joseph's are truly fantastic. They always asked after one of our requests "Is there anything else that you need?" We sadly now have no button to push for help. We ARE the help. It was kind of like living in a hotel. Now, Johnathan asks Jaymi "Is there anything else you need?" The torch has passed. As you can see, we traveled home in Johnathan's Pathfinder complete with a University of Alabama Crimson Tide car seat! Yes! Roll Tide! At home, Sydney (white boxer) and Murphy (boston terrier) awaited us. Johnathan stopped by the house on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons with baby blankets and clothes, so the dogs could get Natalie's smell. When we arrived home at Noon, Johnathan carried Natalie in the front door. Very excited at first, really Murphy is still enamored by her cries, coos and sounds (Murphy's ears move side to side, so does his face). Sydney seems content, yet knows there is "another pack member" here. We washed laundry, the dogs and ourselves. Natalie slept and ate a lot this afternoon. We are hoping for the best tonight. No nursery to send her to anymore. On Friday, backup arrives -- Jaymi's parents, Susan and Jon. Yeaaaaa! Take care, Jaymi and Johnathan

She is such a cutie! Looks like you two are doing a great job. We will talk about your choice in car seats later....
Can't wait to meet her in person.
We will always be able to remember her birthday-it's our anniversary :)
