A random assortment of Natalie

Here are some photos of Natalie from mid-April-May. There are some shots of when I (stupidly) took her to Busch Gardens by myself (on a Saturday) to check out the new Sesame Street Safari of Fun. She really liked playing on the rope bridge, blocking up the entire thing and causing other, bigger kids to have to step over/around her because she didn't quite understand that she wasn't supposed to just stand there and jump around. I think we probably set a record for the shortest visit to the SSSofF because Natalie got a bit tantrum-y when she saw the splash areas that I didn't allow her to visit because we didn't bring her suit. I thought it best to cut our losses and come back another day, preferably during the week when there wouldn't be so many people there, and definitely with at least one other adult. That day is coming on Friday when Dada and I will take her there to celebrate her second birthday, which is actually Thursday, and we will definitely bring a suit!

Also included are some photos from the Rays v. Mariners baseball game we went to today. We only made it to the sixth inning, but I think Natalie had a good time. Well, she enjoyed running around the stadium and especially enjoyed the Hollywood-style lights at the brew pub restaurant located near the exit. Poor Dada wanted to watch the game but ended up spending most of his time chasing Natalie around. We might wait until she's a little bit older to take her again!

We are so excited that our little girl is about to be two! It is just amazing how fast these years have gone by! Soon she will move to the two-year-old room at school and won't be the littlest kid at the JCC anymore - crazy! Her language continues to develop and she often surprises us with a song or phrase we didn't know she knew. It's so cute to hear her chattering away!

And yes, that trike she is riding is one of her birthday gifts, but I caved and gave it to her early because we didn't have anywhere to put it and we figured she'd find it on her own before May 20th. Rest assured we have plenty of other gifts to give her on her actual birthday.

Enjoy the pictures and video!

And a video!
