Happy 4th of July! This is Natalie's 2nd "4th". Well, this is actually Johnathan blogging tonight. It has been quite a busy last few weeks. Here are some photos from a recent six-day visit to see Lee Lee and Pop Pop. Both paternal grandparents did a great job taking care of Natalie during her stay. Lee Lee even created a routine with Natalie complete with full breakfasts, morning strolls in her MacLaren, swims in the inflatable pool, playtime in the kidproof kitchen plus much more. Natalie slept great on the road in the pack n play. She even did well in DaDa's arms during the flights. He did this all by himself, giving Mom the time off. You will notice a picture of Lee Lee feeding Natalie plus Pop Pop showing Charlie McCarthy to our little bear. Also, you will notice Natalie reaching out for a few ribs at DaDa's favorite (and Uncle Ryan's) rib restaurant -- Dreamland. We miss Lee Lee and Pop Pop yet we look forward to a visit from them hopefully in mid August.
There are a few photos of Jaymi, Natalie and I at Four Green Fields Irish Pub. We decided to spend some time having some Dublin fries and a few cool ones together -- Well Natalie drank her water and ate fries with malt vinegar along with us. Natalie especially took to the orange and lemon slices from our iced tap water. She even walked a few more steps -- lured nontheless by "MaMa". Natalie said "MaMa" today we believe for the first time. She said it only one more time, but we will stay with her on this. Besides, MaMa brought her officially into the world. Be well and enjoy.
