Country girl!
This past Saturday, we packed up Natalie and headed out to Johnathan's company picnic, being held at Granma's Huggin' Farm. Yes, this is a real place located off a real dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Once we got settled and Johnathan's colleagues had a chance to ooh and aah over the cuteness that is Natalie, we headed off to look at the animals. There were chickens and piglets, goats and sheep, bunnies and horses. Natalie, however, seemed most interested in the hay. We didn't stay long enough to take the hayride, but Natalie amused herself by sitting down in the back of the truck and throwing the hay around. Of course she tried to eat it, but I told her she wasn't a horse so she should stop. Granma happened to ride by while we were playing and commented that most kids her age don't like the hay because of it's rough texture. But we all already knew that Natalie isn't like most other kids! AFter a few hours on the farm, Natalie was exhausted and we headed back to civilization, but I think she had a great time. You can see for yourself below!
