Super Bowl week in Tampa

Well, the Super Bowl has come and gone and it's been a lot of fun to have such a big event right in our backyard. I spent several days stalking celebrities and even saw a few! We went down to the ESPN set twice and Johnathan got to meet one of his favorite TV personalities, Jim Rome. We saw such sports figures as Trey Wingo, Chad Pennington, Matt Ryan, Warrick Dunn and Lamarr Woodley. At the NFL Network set, we saw Terrell Davis and some other athletes. Figuring I'd see some famous people, I went to the mall Friday and saw a lot of athletic-looking guys but I didn't know who any of them were. Saturday night we went to dinner at Ocean Prime for Johnathan's birthday and were seated next to Jerome "The Bus" Bettis, Eddie George and Marcellus Wiley (from ESPN). I "intercepted" The Bus as he was walking back to his table and asked if he'd be in a picture with Johnathan because it was his birthday and he was happy to oblige. Alas, today it's back to life as usual. Looking forward to the next time we host the Super Bowl!
